Mings 'Knows What He Did' - Mourinho

Jose Mourinho seem to be reluctant to talk about Tyrone Mings' stamp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's head during Saturday match.
Ming stamped on the Zlatan early in the first half, but it was open to debate whether the Bournemouth centre-back had caught the Swede by accident or whether it was his intention.

Ibrahimovic, moments later, caught his opponent with a swinging elbow, which should have warranted a red card.
But referee Kevin Friend refused to send either player off and Gary Neville accused him of “bottling” the decision.
Friend did send off Andrew Surman for a second yellow card in the melee though.
Mourinho, who was seen confronting Mings after half-time, told Sky Sports: “I don’t want to talk about it. The referee was there and he made the decisions. For me the referee was good. The two penalties were right.
“I don’t like to speak afterwards about things that happened in matches.
“If you ask me whether Tyrone Mings gets a three or four match ban I really do not care about it.
“He knows what he did, he knows better than anyone. He knows more than the referee about his intention and the moment.
“I don’t want to speak about it. What is important for me is that result and the fact that we deserved to win and wee didn’t.
Speaking about the 1-1 draw, Mourinho said his side “missed big chances”.
“What happened was that we played phenomenal in the first half and should have been winning 3-0 or 4-0 – then it ended up 1-1. Who can I blame? Ourselves. Nobody else. We missed big chances.
“In the second half we played different team with a man less. I understand their need for one point in the survival battle and they just defended to make it difficult for us. I understand that. And on top of that the goalkeeper was phenomenal.
“We felt pressure of the clock running down and lost the quality of our attacking football. We didn’t lose intensity or desire but the reality is we didn’t score goals,” added Mourinho.
On playing against 10 men Mourinho said:  “Sometimes it is easier, sometimes it is more difficult. If we score a second goal at start of the second half then it is different and becomes easier.
“They did what teams normally do when teams have 10 men. I’m not blaming them for that.”

Zlatan has also opened up to plead his innocence that the elbow blow wasn't intentional.

He told MUTV: “With the elbow situation, I jump, I protect myself. I jump very high, he jumps into me. I think he jumps backwards, I jump straight up, Unfortunately, he jumps into my elbow.”
“Hopefully he is not injured. These situations happen. I go for the ball, and unluckily he jumps into my elbow. It was nothing on purpose, there’s nothing to do about it now and hopefully he is not injured.”
